A St. Louis family purchased 800 acres in Central Missouri to create a family project - a place where the extended family could gather and engage in outdoor activities. After creating an 11-acre lake, they envisioned a rustic yet comfortable family lodge. Separate cabins, connected by pathways to the main lodge, have views to the lake.

• The 6,000SF lodge features a large stone fireplace, outdoor deck, playrooms and bunk rooms, and serves as the main house. Two additional cabins built in the dense woods are connected by a boardwalk. Bedrooms are placed on the lower level with living and kitchen areas above to create a "treehouse"effect.
