A recent thank you came from Habitat for Humanity for partnering with them on their 2010 build. With the help of firms and companies who contribute materials and expertise to HFH, the organization was able to build 23 affordable, energy efficient and environmentally healthy homes.
Architects Matthew Roeder, Tom Peterson and John Burse, along with BIM Support Specialist Kevin Symons assisted HFH with construction documents by implementing ArchiCAD (generously donated to HFH by Graphicsoft), to help reduce the amount of time needed to produce construction drawings as well as evaluate potential design conflicts before implementing construction. According to Kyle Hunsberger, Director of Construction for HFH, “We couldn’t have done it without you.”
