Jordan Gatewood recently completed a punch list in preparation for the September opening of the Savannah School of Art and Design’s (SCAD) newest residence life project. Reminiscent of a Hollywood backlot, the project is modeled after the Bauhaus School of architecture and will feature a meticulously landscaped green space and courtyard.
Clayco, Mackey Mitchell Architects and Georgia-based Dawson Architects served as the project team for Montgomery Residence Hall which will also include classrooms for the college’s animation, motion media design, interactive design and game development and visual effects programs. Mackey Mitchell’s project team included John Burse, Jordan Gatewood, Steve Emer, Clint Smith, and Dan Mitchell.
