Back in August, architect Gwynn Zivic was invited to serve as a juror for the AIA Design Awards Program of Excellence in Chicago. A member of the organizing committee recently thanked her and two other jurors for their “… time, enthusiasm, and critical eye.” The awards ceremony, said to be a “smashing success,” was held at Navy Pier.
Gwynn has led award-winning design competitions and also served as a juror in the 2011 AIA Michigan Design Awards program. Her design portfolio includes the LEED platinum Williams Village at the University of Colorado-Boulder; Western Campus Housing at Miami University of Ohio; numerous projects for Washington University in St. Louis; and the University of Alabama-Huntsville Student Center.
