The March-April issue of ACUHO-I’s Talking Stick (the authoritative source for campus housing) announced Steve Emer’s appointment as president of Mackey Mitchell Architects. Steve graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture at Washington University in St. Louis, and received his Master of Architecture from Rice University. Throughout his tenure at Mackey Mitchell, he has managed design efforts on several student life projects, including the Savannah College of Art and Design, McKendree University, Truman State University, Washington University in St. Louis, Westminster College, Texas Tech University and Eastern Kentucky University to name a few.  Steve continues to build on his 18 years with MMA and will lead the firm with his seasoned design and management skills.
