The SMPS St. Louis Marketing Excellence Awards recognize outstanding achievement in marketing communications by firms in the design and building industry. Mackey Mitchell accepted an award at the April 10 recognition dinner in the category of “self-promotion” for its series of marketing brochures produced on student housing, student dining, and student center design. The entries were scored on their marketing objectives, creativity, quality, content, and results. Seventeen jurors consisting of SMPS board members were selected for their expertise in marketing, communications, and the A/E/C industry. Occurring once very two years, the competition provides an opportunity for professional services firms to showcase their best marketing practices.
Mackey Mitchell also received an SMPS Marketing Excellence Award in 2012 for a series of watercolors produced by architect John Burse that were packaged as a set of note cards and sent to clients and friends as our holiday card.
