Members and staff of the Old North St. Louis Restoration Group began a conversation in 2005 about bringing a much-needed grocery store to the neighborhood. With the goal of bringing affordable, healthy and fresh foods to the residents of the area, the Missouri Foundation for Health provided a grant to establish and operate the Old North Grocery Co-op in 2010.  Jordan Gatewood of Mackey Mitchell contributed architectural services as part of a huge team that helped pull this effort together.  To learn more about the store and the team that contributed to meeting the needs of this vibrant and dynamic community, check out their website at www.oldnorthgrocery.com.
