We were fortunate this year to have Avik Guha, a bright and talented graduate student, work with us this summer.  Avik is studying for his Masters of Architecture and Masters of Construction Management from Washington University in St. Louis.  Over the past few months, Avik (center) has had the opportunity to work in ArchiCAD and Artlantis software programs, visit construction sites, attend client meetings and visit projects. While we enjoyed his company at our annual summer barbeque and casual lunch-and-learn programs, he wowed us with images and stories from his 2010 trip to Brazil  According to Avik, “I’d heard stories about summer internships that involved only mundane grunt-work tasks, but I’ve had a diverse and interesting range of experiences at Mackey Mitchell.  It’s been a great summer.”
