MMA Principal Marcus Adrian (and his wife Angela) have been invited to speak at an upcoming national conference in November. The ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) program committee accepted a submission from Marcus, Angela, and a faculty member from SLU’s Department of Communication Sciences to present at the 2013 annual convention to be held in Chicago. After a competitive selection process, the program committee invited the three to present  their session on “Controlling Environmental Variables: Maximizing Classroom Learning Experiences.”  Marcus has been published in the ASHA Journal, and has been a long-time member of this outstanding organization. ASHA is the national professional, scientific, and credentialing association for more than 166,000 audiologists, speech-language pathologists, speech, language, and hearing scientists, audiology and speech-language pathology support personnel and students.
