Scheduled to open this fall, the new ten-story Mark A. Nordenberg student residence hall at the University of Pittsburgh will feature 559 beds, street-level retail space, and a student wellness center designed within an urban context. Located at University and 5th in the Oakland Civic Center Historic District, the design passed review by the City Historic Review Commission by incorporating thematic elements of surrounding historical buildings and adding a modern twist.
