Students who recently moved into the new Bousfield Residence Hall at the University of Illinois at Urbana – Champaign are enjoying their space. They’ve been particularly “wowed” by the spectacular views found throughout the six-story residence hall. From the lounges or their rooms, students can see the green roof over the lobby, Memorial Stadium, or the grassy area in the middle of the new Ikenberry Commons.
With a capacity for nearly 500 students, the rooms are arranged in suites of four with two bathrooms and a central living area, similar to many student apartments. “I love it,” said a student resident, “It feels more like home.” “It’s absolutely 100 percent better than the other dorms on campus,” said one sophomore. The spacious lounges and spectacular views are highly rated by all the students.
