Merrilee Hertlein and Stacey Wehe went to the Greenbuild Conference and Expo in Philadelphia, along with 30,000 other attendees. Merrilee was most impressed with the 2030 Palette, an organization devoted to energy conservation and setting goals for buildings to meet reduced levels of energy consumption. She encourages everyone to check out the site to learn how to make better, more sustainable buildings. Greenbuild attracts industry leaders and professionals dedicated to sustainable building design.

The conference featured three days of  speakers, networking opportunities, industry showcases, LEED workshops and tours of the host city’s green buildings.
