The University of Alabama’s Charger Union was featured in the recent ACUI (Association of College Unions International) Bulletin. Many thanks to Dean of Students Regina Young Hyatt for submitting the project on behalf of Mackey Mitchell Architects and Turner Batson.

According to Hyatt, “The Charger Union is truly a building for the students in which great pride is illustrated throughout.” The projects featured in the 2015 Showcase demonstrate how “new and revitalized buildings can foster social engagement and create a sense of place, representing what today’s students seek in union facilities.”
