Merrilee Hertlein  will be joined by three university representatives at this year’s ACUI (Association of College Unions International) conference in San Antonio to present a program titled “Furniture, Fabric, Feeling: Design for Inclusion.”  (Session 7, April 10,  from 5-6 pm).  Inclusive Design is often used interchangeably with the terms universal design and “design for all.”  The session is designed to inspire a mini-charette aimed at collaboration, creation, and sharing an original inclusive design. Merrilee will be joined by Samantha Brandenburg, Miami University; Trinity Gonzalez, Florida State University,  and Eric Margiotta, Virginia Tech. Participants will be challenged to think about their campus populations and leave the program with ideas for improvement.
