2023 was an extraordinary year. We added amazing people to our ranks, had some exciting project wins, and received recognition from the design community for our excellent work. With such great momentum, we look forward to shaping an even brighter future together in 2024!
This year we celebrated important project milestones with our clients. There were groundbreaking ceremonies at the University of Southern Florida Sarasota-Manatee, Baton Rouge Community College, and Missouri S&T. And there were ribbon cuttings for our projects at Delgado Community College, SCAD Atlanta, and Eastern Michigan University. This diverse range of facilities comprises student centers, residences, nursing and allied health, learning spaces, food service, and a manufacturing innovation research hub.
We received two AIA St. Louis design awards in November – a Distinguished Award for Adaptive Reuse in the Architecture Category for the Schine Student Center Renovation at Syracuse University, and a Merit Award in the Architecture Category for the Central West End Metrolink Station. The East End Transformation at Washington University in St. Louis, which includes Henry A. and Elvira H. Jubel Hall, received the 2023 AIA Regional & Urban Design Award. SCAD Forty-Four in Atlanta was a finalist for the ULI Atlanta’s Award of Excellence in the Multifamily Residential Development category.
These accomplishments would not have been possible without the exceptional talents and tireless dedication of our team. We are so fortunate that all our people embody MMA’s guiding values and continue to contribute to the firm’s success. We want to recognize and celebrate a few individuals who demonstrated notable growth this year. Congratulations to them for such well-deserved promotions.
