Architectural Project Designer

We are looking for talented and experienced architectural designers to join our team at MMA. We believe in the strength of a diverse and passionate team and are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone’s voice is heard and valued. The position is available for any of our office locations (St. Louis, MO; Dallas, TX; Asheville, NC).

 Key Responsibilities:
  • Ability to work collaboratively as an integral member of a team at all stages of the design process.
  • Demonstrate a passion for conceptual and detailed design exploration and iteration.
  • Possess excellent graphic communication skills including rendering, diagramming, and creation of design presentations and visual assets.
  • Research and integrate sustainable design solutions into projects.
  • Exhibit exceptional standards for quality, time management, and strong attention to detail.
Education and professional experience:
  • Professional accredited architectural degree.
  • A minimum of 3 years of full-time professional experience as an Architectural Project Designer is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Sketchup, Adobe CC Suite, Lumion and/or Enscape. Experience with Rhino, Grasshopper, and COVE tool is beneficial.
  • United States Work Authorization required.

Project Architect

We’re seeking experienced Project Architects to help shape the future of our built environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate complex architectural projects from concept to completion

  • Ensure project compliance with building codes, regulations, and quality standards
  • Utilize your expertise in building systems to create efficient, sustainable designs
Education and professional experience:
  • Licensed Architect with 8+ years of professional experience
  • Proficiency in Revit and other industry-standard software
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and construction practices
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Experience with higher education projects is a plus

Office Manager

We’re seeking a dynamic and organized Office Manager to join our St. Louis team. This role is crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of our office and supporting our creative professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The Office Manager will work closely with the current Project Administrative Assistant to coordinate the completion of office duties (i.e., providing back-up and mutual support as needed), and will primarily be responsible for the following tasks:
  • Maintaining a clean and orderly office environment.
    Answering phones, welcoming, and assisting visitors.
  •  Receiving, delivery, and mailing packages.
  • Serving as primary liaison between our travel agent and employees (receipts, issues, claims).
  • Communicating issues to our property manager (repairs/maintenance requests, tenant common area cleanliness, parking, elevators).
  • Updating magazine subscriptions and maintaining our library.
  • Checking, ordering, and re-stocking office supply inventories.
  • Organizing, maintaining, and processing renewals of State professional licenses (corporate certificates of authority and individual firm shareholders)
  •  Assisting with various accounting tasks (managing and reconciling expense receipts, data entry, etc.).
  • Assisting with the planning and executing firm gatherings and social events (in and out of office).
Education and professional experience:
  • High school diploma required. Associate’s degree or above preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office 365.
  • United States Work Authorization required.
